This edition provides freshness to the masterpiece of evolution. The text, adapted by scientists Juli Peretó and Andrés Moya from its original english language, has tried to provide a easier text by shortening the diversity of examples, so it’s easy to follow for non-specialist readers. With more than 200 illustrations by Carles Puche, plants, animals and fossils are portrayed with the same perkiness of Darwin. This illustrated version, aims to provides to the general public Darwin's preeminence in the history of human thought, celebrating the bicentenary of the birth of the English naturalist. In other words, this is a masterpiece of scientific thinking that leads us to ask ourselves, why we are who we are.
