In the southern hemisphere some things work the other way round that they do at the northern hemisphere.... but others work just same way.
Use your imagination and try to think you are in Tierra del Fuego. You are at the southernmost point of South America, Ushuaia. In front of you there is the Beagle Channel. Can you see it? Well, then try to answer the following questions:
A/ When is the coldest moment?
1/ in August
2/ in December
B/ From which side the sun rises?
1/ form the east
2/ from the west
C/ Which position the sun have at midday? (If you are not sure, check this image that shows you the sun’s position)
1/ South
2/ North
D/ In which direction wind and water circulates? (If you are not sure, check this image)
1/ clockwise direction, just like in the North Hemisphere
2/ anti-clockwise direction
E/ When in Barcelona is 12 o’clock, what time is it in Ushuaia? (If you are not sure, you can check earth timezones)
1/ 15:00
2/ 9:00
